Seton Hall will return to action when it hosts Lehigh on Tuesday, Nov. 16, at newly-renovated Walsh Gymnasium. Â Tip time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.Â

Playing in her first game in a Pirate uniform, Sidney Cooks (Kenosha, Wis.) scored a team-high 21 points to go with nine rebounds, but The Hall fell to Fordham, 82-63, on Saturday.

After trailing by as many as 14 points in the first half, The Hall used a 12-1 run late in the third quarter to cut its deficit to only two points. But the Pirates never got closer.

Cooks was an efficient 10-for-15 from the field and drained a three-pointer in her first action of the season. Andra Espinoza-Hunter (Ossining, N.Y.) finished with 20 points, 14 in the second half, and was 4-for-6 from three-point range. She also grabbed seven rebounds.

SCOUTING LEHIGH
Fordham is coming off a 10-6 final record during the abbreviated 2020-21 season. The Mountain Hawks won the Patriot League championship with a 64-54 victory over Boston University in the title game. Lehigh's season came to an end with an NCAA First Round loss to fourth-seeded West Virginia, 77-53.

This season, the Mountain Hawks are predicted to repeat as champions of the 10-team Patriot League according to the league's preseason coaches poll. Junior Frannie Hottinger was named to the Preseason All-Conference First Team.

Lehigh opened the 2021-22 season with a pair of easy victories last week. They began the season last Tuesday with an 82-35 victory over East Stroudsburg. Most recently, Lehigh downed Saint Peter's, 84-68, on Friday. Hottinger led the team with 22 points and six rebounds.

Seton Hall will return to action on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 25 when it begins play at the Cancun Challenge. The Hall will face No. 8 Iowa at 4:00 p.m. ET at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya in Cancun, Mexico. The contest will be available to subscribers on FloSports.
