Both contests this weekend are scheduled to be streamed live by Huskies All-Access at UConnHuskies.com.

LAST MATCH
For a second straight night, the Seton Hall women's volleyball team tied Villanova 2-2 through four sets, only Saturday, the Pirates outlasted Villanova in the fifth set for its second BIG EAST victory of the year, 3-2, (13-25, 25-19, 17-25, 25-23, 15-8).
Â
The Pirates and Wildcats played 10 grueling sets this weekend with each team winning a match. Whereas Villanova and Seton Hall traded sets on Friday, the Pirates needed to win the final two sets on Saturday to pull off the come-from-behind victory.
Â
Both Tsvetelina Ilieva (Sofia, Bulgaria) and Taylor Jakubowski (Lake in the Hills, Ill.) recorded double-doubles. Ilieva had a team-best 12 kills to go with 11 digs, four assists and two service aces. Jakubowski had 18 assists and 17 digs.
Â
SCOUTING CONNECTICUT
Connecticut leads the all-time series against Seton Hall, 19-10, but with the Huskies rejoining the BIG EAST this year, the teams haven't met since the 2012 season. That year, UConn edged The Hall in five sets in Storrs. The Pirates had won the prior two meetings.
Â
The Huskies are coming off a 12-16 season in 2019, which included a 6-10 mark in the American Athletic Conference. UConn won three of the final four matches of the regular season, but did not qualify for the AAC postseason tournament.
Â
The Huskies enter this weekend with a 2-6 overall record and a 2-4 mark in BIG EAST matches. UConn has dropped five of their last six matches, including three straight. Last weekend, they dropped a pair of four-set matches at Providence. In a statistical anomaly, all eight of Connecticut's matches this season have ended in four sets.Â
Â
Seton Hall and UConn enter the final weekend tied at 2-4 in the conference standings, but all five members of the BIG EAST's East Division are within three games of each other, top-to-bottom.  Connecticut was picked to finish third in the BIG EAST's East Division per the preseason coaches poll.Â
