THE GAME
Seton Hall will return to action on Sunday, January 30 when it returns to the friendly confines of newly-renovated Walsh Gymnasium for a contest with DePaul. Tip time is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET.Â

PROMOTION
The game is being presented by the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA). It's also a White Out Rally Towel Giveway Day!! All fans in attendance will receive a white rally towel!

The game will be nationally televised on FS1 with familiar voice Davie Popkin and Kim Adams on the call. As usual, the game will also be available over the airwaves at 89.5 FM WSOU and at wsou.net with Jorie Mickens and John Makuch on the air. Live stats will also be available.

The Pirates faced the top-ranked defense in the BIG EAST Conference and fell to Marquette, 62-43, at the Al McGuire Center on Wednesday.

Marquette entered the game allowing just 54.7 points per game, 18th fewest in the nation, and limited the Pirates to just 43 points and 28.1% shooting from the floor. The Hall was also out-rebounded 54-to-25.

Andra Espinoza-Hunter (Ossining, N.Y.) led the Pirates with 13 points to go with four rebounds and two steals. Lauren Park-Lane (Wilmington, Del.) had 11 points, five assists and two steals.

LAST YEAR AGAINST DE PAUL
Lauren Park-Lane scored a game-high 24 points and both Andra Espinoza-Hunter and Desiree Elmore had double-doubles, but the Pirates fell at No. 19 DePaul, 82-76, on Feb. 15, the lone time these teams played during the 2020-21 season.

After an even first half, DePaul scored the first nine points of the third quarter and the Pirates were never able to fully recover. Although The Hall out-shot the Blue Demons, the Pirates were just 5-for-26 from three-point range.

Park-Lane scored 24 points on 10-for-20 shooting and dished out five assists. Espinoza-Hunter had 17 points and 15 rebounds for her first career double-double, while Elmore had 13 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and a career-high five blocks.

SCOUTING DE PAUL
The Blue Demons are coming off a 14-10 campaign during the abbreviated 2020-21 season, which included an 11-5 mark in BIG EAST play. DePaul was bounced from the BIG EAST Tournament in overtime, but still qualified for the WNIT. They defeated Saint Louis in the first round, but lost to Drake.

This year, DePaul is predicted to finish second in the 11-team BIG EAST Conference, according to the Preseason Coaches' Poll. Both Sonya Morris and Lexi Held were named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.Â

DePaul enters its contest with Seton Hall with a 17-5 overall record and a 9-2 mark in conference play. The Blue Demons have won five of their last six games including a 94-88 victory over St. John's on Friday. Aneesah Morrow is the clear favorite to win BIG EAST Freshman of the Year as she is averaging 20.8 points and 12.8 rebounds per game.
