
Moen Paces Pirates at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals

University Park, Pa. – Etta Moen (Kenmore, Wash.) was the top Pirate finisher for the first time this season at the 2022 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals on Friday morning.
Moen completed the 6k course with a time of 23:01.4 as she becomes the fourth different Pirate to pace the team this season. Finishing behind her was Julia Smith (Pittsgrove, N.J.) with a time of 23:13.6, while Nancy Habib (Clifton, N.J.) was the third Pirate to complete the race, doing so in 23:17.1
Rounding out the top-five for the Pirates were Taj Lanier (Lincoln University, Pa.) and Abigail Hughes (Staten Island, N.Y.). Lanier took fourth on the team with a time of 24:02.2, while Hughes crossed the line in 24:14.9 to finish fifth on the Pirates. Madison Rempalski (Grand Rapids, Mich.) and Caitlin Fahy (Ringwood, N.J.) also competed on the day for Seton Hall.
