THE GAME
Seton Hall will continue play in the 2022 Women's National Invitation Tournament on Thursday, March 31 when it travels to Middle Tennessee for the National Semifinal (Final Four). Tip time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.Â

The game will be streamed live by ESPN3 with Jake Rose and Daron Park on the call. As usual, the game will also be available over the airwaves at 89.5 FM WSOU and at wsou.net with radio veterans Wilnir Louis and Liam Plate providing the action. Live stats will also be available.

Junior Lauren Park-Lane (Wilmington, Del.) had a game-high 29 points, and the Pirates edged Columbia, 78-75, to reach the Final Four of the 2022 Women's National Invitation Tournament on Monday.

Park-Lane registered a team-high 29 points for the third time in four WNIT games this postseason. The Pirate point guard was a perfect 14-for-14 from the free-throw line and had five assists and two steals. As a team, The Hall went 20-for-20 from the line, while Columbia was just 9-for-16.

Both Sidney Cooks (Kenosha, Wis.) and Andra Espinoza-Hunter (Ossining, N.Y.) scored 16 points. Cooks also had five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Espinoza-Hunter had five rebounds and three assists.

SCOUTING MIDDLE TENNESSEE
Middle Tennessee ran through its Conference USA schedule in route to a 14-4 final record and earning a No. 2 seed and first round bye in the conference tournament. The Lady Raiders, however, were upset in the semifinals by Louisiana Tech.

Prior to the Conference USA Tournament, Middle Tennessee's Kseniya Malashka was named C-USA Sixth Player of the Year in her first season as a Lady Raider. Malashka, Dor Saar and Courtney Whitson were voted to the All C-USA Second Team. Middle Tennessee is the only team to have three players represented on the all-conference first and second teams.

Defensive stalwart Alexis Whittington earned a spot on the five-person Conference USA All-Defensive team. Anastasiia Boldyreva and Jalynn Gregory were each named to the five-person Conference USA All-Freshman team.

The Lady Raiders earned an At-Large bid to the WNIT and won their first three games of the event at home over Wofford, Wake Forest and Vanderbilt. Most recently, Middle Tennessee went on the road to edge Toledo, 73-71, in overtime on Monday. Boldyreva produced the best game of her young collegiate career with 28 points on 13-of-20 shooting.

Middle Tennessee enters the national semifinals with a 27-7 record. They are a perfect 16-0 at home this season.

UP NEXT
With a victory over Middle Tennessee, Seton Hall will play for the WNIT Championship against either South Dakota State or UCLA on Saturday, April 2 at 3:00 p.m. ET. The location is still to be determined.
