
Pirates Announce 2022-23 Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Schedule

South Orange, N.J. -Â The Seton Hall men's and women's swimming and diving team have announced their schedules for the 2022-23 season. Both schedules will feature 10 meets, all leading up to the to the BIG EAST Championships in late February.
The Pirates will open the season inside Arthur E. Imperatore Natatorium with a meet against Rider on Saturday, Oct. 8. The team will then hit the road for meets at Army on Oct. 14-15 and at Monmouth on Friday, Oct. 28. Seton Hall returns to South Orange on Saturday, Oct. 29 to take on La Salle, as well as a matchup with Drexel on Saturday, Nov. 5. The fall season concludes with a trip to Morgantown, W. Va. as the Pirates will compete in the WVU Invite, with the three-day event taking place from Nov. 17-19.
The winter schedule kicks off in South Orange as the Pirates welcome in Lehigh on Friday, Jan. 13. One day later, the women's team will face its first BIG EAST foe of the season as they travel to Storrs, Conn. to face UConn. On Jan. 20, the men's team will travel to take on NJIT before the men's and women's team head to Delaware on Jan. 21. Finally, the Pirates will celebrate Senior Day inside Arthur E. Imperatore Natatorium on Saturday, Jan. 28 against Georgetown.
The Pirates will get a few weeks off in preparation for the 2023 BIG EAST Swimming & Diving Championships, set to return to the Nassau Aquatic Center in East Meadow, N.Y. The event will take place from Feb. 22-25. In last year's event, the men finished fourth out of five teams while the women took fifth place out of seven teams.
Other dates of note are the NCAA Zone Diving Championships, which will be held from March 6-8 at West Virginia University in Morgantown, W. Va., as well as the CSCAA National Invitational Championship in Elkhart, Ind. From March 9-11. The women's NCAA Championships will be held March 15-18 in Knoxville, Tenn., while the men's NCAA Championships will take place March 22-25 in Minneapolis, Minn.
