STATE COLLEGE, PA. - The Seton Hall women' golf team will return to action this weekend when it plays three rounds of golf at the Nittany Lion Invitational, hosted by Penn State University, September 17-18.

The relaxing atmosphere continues right off the greens and into the Walker Clubhouse. In this 6,000 sq. ft. facility you'll find a complete Golf Shop filled with the latest in quality golf equipment and merchandise. Let our golf professionals share with you their expertise and answer any of your questions. Next to the Golf Shop is The Nineteenth Hole Cafe. This snack area offers a variety of food and snacks for a quick bite or a relaxing meal. The Cafe's open dining area overlooks the courses and provides the perfect compliments to a round of golf.

THE FIELD:
In addition to Seton Hall and host Penn State, the field is comprised of 14 other teams including:  Boston College, Bradley, Bucknell, Central Michigan, Columbia, Eastern Kentucky, High Point, Kennesaw State, Navy, Richmond, Toledo, Towson and Youngstown State. Also in the field is BIG EAST opponent, Butler.

THE FORMAT:
Teams will play five golfers and count the four lowest scores per round.

THE LINEUP:
Seton Hall will be bringing the following lineup, in order as indicated, to Penn State.
Individual:Â Lara Todorovic, Freshman

LAST TIME OUT:
Graduate student Sarah Fouratt (Santa Maria, Calif.) and sophomore Ana Sarrias Pro (Cadiz, Spain) each had a 5-over-par, 76, in the final round to pace the Pirates to an 11th place tie at the Yale Invitational to open the fall season on Sept. 11.

Fouratt had a rough start, but finished her third round with pars on nine of her final 10 holes. She was the top Pirate for the tournament, tying for 39th place with a 12-over-par, 71-78-76-225. Sarrias Pro was also strong on the back nine today, shooting just 1-over-par over her final 14 holes. For the tournament, she was 17-over-par with an 80-74-76-230.

As a team, The Hall tied Albany for 11th place in the 15-team field. The Pirates shot a 27-over-par, 311, on Sunday. For the three-round event, they were 63-over-par with a 299-305-311-915. Harvard won the team title at 4-under-par.

LAST TIME AT PENN STATE:
Margot Bechadergue fired an even-par, 72, to lift The Hall to a fifth-place finish at the Nittany Lion Invitational last fall. Bechadergue recorded four birdies in route to an even-par, 72, in the final round on Sunday. For the tournament, she placed fourth among 85 individual golfers with a 5-under-par, 71-68-72-211. Bechadergue finished five strokes behind the individual champion, Penn State's Mathilde Delavallade.

As a team, the Pirates the Pirates shot an 8-over-par, 296, in the final round and finished in fifth place among 14 teams. For the three-round event, The Hall fired a 12-over-par, 296-284-296-876. Penn State won the team title at 13-under-par. Delaware finished second at 1-under-par. Seton Hall's lone BIG EAST competition, Georgetown, finished in seventh place at 20-over-par.

THE SCHEDULE:
The field will play two continuous rounds (36 holes) on Saturday, beginning with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m., and a single, final round on Sunday. Sunday's shotgun start will begin at 8:30 a.m. Seton Hall will be paired with golfers from Eastern Kentucky and Columbia for the first two rounds.
