
Beaman Paces Pirates at IC4A Championships

Bronx, N.Y. – The Seton Hall men's cross country team competed in the IC4A Championships on Friday morning at Van Cortlandt Park. Stephen Beaman (Johnston, Iowa) led the pack for the Pirates on the 8k course.
Beaman was the first Pirate to cross the finish line, doing so in a time of 25:57.0. He was followed by Jeffrey Grynaviski (Farmington Hills, Mich.) as the second Seton Hall finisher, notching a time of 26:16.2. Fellow freshman Joseph Butler crossed the line in 26:42.5 as the third Pirate to complete the course.
Rounding out the Pirates' top-five were Logan Brunozzi (Churchville, Pa.) and Kendal Lanier (Kennett Square, Pa.). Brunozzi clocked a time of 26:48.70 while Lanier came in with a time of 26:52.6. Other Pirate finishers on the morning were Zachary Doneth (Easley, S.C.), Anthony Cary, Michael Polak (Jamison, Pa.), and Michael Kelton (Malaga, N.J.).
The Pirates now begin preparations for the BIG EAST Championships, which will be held Oct. 28 in Kenosha, Wis.
