
Pirate Runners Place 16th at IC4A Championship

BRONX, N.Y. – Seton Hall men's cross country traveled to Bronx, New York, to compete in the IC4A Cross Country Championship today, where they placed 16th out of 24 teams with 453 points in a 269 runner field.
Junior Logan Brunozzi (Churchville, Pa.) performed immensely, crossing the line as the first Pirate finisher with a time of 25:39.6. This was an improvement from last week at the Metropolitan Championship where Brunozzi was the third Pirate finisher.
Junior Stephen Beaman (Johnston, Iowa) came in less than five seconds behind Brunozzi with a time of 25:43.6. This was Beaman's third straight race as a one of the first two Pirates to finish. four finish in as many races.
Alongside them, Freshman Aakash Arumguam (Rockland, Calif) crossed the finish line in 26:02.2, making him the third Pirate finisher inside the top 100.
Senior Anthony Cary was the Pirates' fourth finisher of the race with a time of 26:42.0.
The Pirates will return to competition on November 1, when they travel to Leesburg, Virginia, to compete in the BIG EAST Championship.
