
The Hall Opens Spring Season with Columbia Classic

MELBOURNE, FLA. - The Seton Hall women' golf team will open the 2024 spring season with three rounds of competition at the Columbia Classic, Feb. 10-12, at Duran Golf Club.

THE COURSE:
On Central Florida's East Coast in Viera, Florida, you will find a golf destination dedicated to providing a memorable experience for all who visit, or call this special place home.
Â
When playing Duran Golf Club, golfers will find a layout with links-style characteristics, presenting wide driving areas, native grasses, and mild mounding around large, undulating greens. The award-winning course is very playable for those that navigate their way around the courses subtle challenges.
Â
The winds from the Atlantic Ocean may join you on your round at any time, and can add up to three clubs on approach shots. The sparkling lakes that boarder the sweeping doglegs will catch wayward shots from golfers that try to bite off more than they can chew.

THE FIELD:
In addition to Seton Hall and host Columbia, the large field is comprised of 16 other teams including: Albany, Cal State Fullerton, Dartmouth, Eastern Kentucky, Emory, James Madison, Kennesaw State, Old Dominion, Penn State, Princeton, Richmond, Yale and Youngstown State. BIG EAST opponent St. John's is also in the field.

THE FORMAT:
Teams will play five golfers and count the four lowest scores per round.

THE LINEUP:
Seton Hall will be bringing the entire team to compete at Duran. The lineup and list of individuals is below, in order as indicated:

THE SCHEDULE:
The field will play 18 holes of golf per day for three days. Round one and two, on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, will start with tee times off holes No. 1 and No. 10 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Monday's final round will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
