
Strosnider Strong Again to Lead Pirates at Lafayette Preview

Easton, Pa. - Junior Honey Strosnider (Fairfield, Pa.) continued her strong start to the 2024 season, coming in fifth place to lead the Seton Hall women's cross country team, which placed second at the Lafayette Preview Friday evening at Metzgar Fields Athletic Complex.Â
Strosnider crossed the finish line of the 5K race in a time of 17:55.3, her second straight time leading the Pirates and her second straight top-six finish.
Seton Hall had four athletes finish in the race's top-30. Sophomore Paige Quigley (Sacramento, Calif.) was not far behind Strosnider, coming in seventh with a time of 18:13.0. Senior Julia Smith (Pittsgrove, N.J.) finished 14th with a time of 18:35.9. Freshman Destiny Lopez (Crownpoint, Ind.) came in 27th with a time of 19:16.8.
Seton Hall will race again on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Osprey Open taking place at Stockton University.
