Hulett Named BIG EAST Men's Co-Golfer of the Week

NEW YORK – Seton Hall freshman Jace Hulett (Austin, Texas) was named BIG EAST Male Co-Golfer of the Week on Wednesday.

Hulett fired a 2-under-par, 70, on Tuesday to win the title of the Shepherd's Rock Individual by two strokes. Playing in only his second collegiate event, Hulett had three birdies and an eagle on the par-4, No. 7, hole to win the event over 29 other individual golfers. For the three-round tournament, he was 8-under-par with a 73-65-70-208. His 208 is tied for the ninth-lowest par-72, three-round effort in Seton Hall history.

Additionally, Hulett's 7-under-par, 65, in the second round ties Seton Hall's par-72, single-round record, and is only the fifth, 65, in program history.

The Pirates will return to tournament play for three rounds of golf at The Bryson Invitational at Daniel Island Golf Club in South Carolina, Oct. 13-15.
