
Shah Guides Pirates to Finish at Bryson Invitational

DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. – Junior Eli Shah (Newtown Square, Pa.) shot a 1-under-par, 71, on Tuesday to lift the Seton Hall men's golf team to a 13th place finish at the 2025 Bryson Invitational at Daniel Island Golf Club.

Shah had four birdies and 11 pars in round three to fuel his second sub-par round of the tournament. For the three-day event, he tied for 17th place among 84 individual golfers with a 4-under-par, 72-69-71-212. Vanderbilt's Ryan Downes was the individual winner at 13-under-par.

Shah now has five sub-par rounds in nine total rounds so far this fall. This week's performance comes on the heels of a career-best 5-under-par showing at the Nemacolin Invitational in Seton Hall's last tournament.

As a team, The Hall shot a 3-over-par, 291, on Tuesday, but still finished the tournament under par. For the three-day event, the Pirates were 1-under-par with a 287-285-291-863. Vanderbilt won the team title with a remarkable 30-under-par.

The Hall's performance at The Bryson Invitational is its 24th sub-par tournament result in program history. Impressively, it's already the third sub-par tournament in three events so far this fall.

Ever consistent, senior Jack Bosworth (Daniel Island, S.C.) danced around par all week. On Tuesday, he had three birdies and 12 pars in route to an even-par, 72. For the tournament, he tied for 38th place with an even-par, 71-73-72-216.

Sophomore Will Hennessee (Tulsa, Okla.) finished his tournament with a 2-over-par, 74, in round three. For the three-day event, he finished one stroke behind Bosworth for 41st place with a 1-over-par, 68-75-74-217.

Coming off a terrific 4-under-par, 68, in the second round, senior David Lally (Wickow, Ireland) finished today's final round with a 2-over-par, 74. For the tournament, he was 2-over-par with a 76-68-74-218.

Luke Nolan (Austin, Texas) turned in his best round of the tournament on Tuesday. The sophomore had four birdies to fuel a 2-over-par, 74. For the event, he was 12-over-par with a 77-77-74-228.
