DEBARY, FLA. - The Seton Hall women's golf team return to action with three rounds of golf at the Babs Steffens Invitational, hosted by Stetson University at DeBary Golf and Country Club, February 24-25.
Â
Tournament Details:
BABS STEFFENS INVITATIONAL
Host:Â Stetson University
Location:Â DeBary, Fla.
Course:Â DeBary Golf & Country Club
Course Vitals:Â Par-72, 6,082 yards
Dates:Â February 24-25, 2025
Â
THE COURSE:
DeBary Golf & Country Club is Florida golf at its finest. Our challenging golf course was designed by Lloyd Clifton. Most holes are set away from the community by a buffer zone of dense woods and vegetation. With great course conditions, undulating fairways, and greens that roll true and fast, it's no wonder that DeBary Golf & Country Club is consistently chosen as a U.S. Open Qualifying site. DeBary is sure to offer you the premier golf experience you have been craving.
Â
The National Audubon Society certified the course's natural habitat as a bird sanctuary. Water only comes into play on the freshly re-designed, risk-reward Par 5 11th hole and on the finishing two holes of each nine, where the 9th and 18th greens meet for a panoramic view from the elegant clubhouse. The course is complemented by complete practice facilities including a driving range, chipping green, and putting green.
Â
THE FIELD:
In addition to Seton Hall and host Stetson, the field includes 13 other schools: Albany, Bethune-Cookman, Bucknell, Chicago State, Jacksonville, Keiser University, Lehigh, LeMoyne, Palm Beach State, Seminole State, Troy and West Georgia. BIG EAST rival St. John's is also in the field.Â
Â
THE FORMAT:
Teams will play five golfers and count the four lowest scores per round.
