SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall men's golf head coach JT Harper announced today that Gary Dunne has been elevated to Associate Head Coach. Dunne has served as an assistant coach for the program since Harper took over as head coach in 2022.
Â
In three seasons with Dunne as an assistant coach, the Pirates have won four tournaments, including the 2024 BIG EAST Championship. That same year, Harper, Dunne and Ian Lagowitz were named BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year.
Â
A 2014 graduate of Seton Hall, Dunne was a stellar performer for the men's golf team for four years. A 2012 All-BIG EAST selection, he competed in 34 tournaments and averaged 76.72 strokes per round in his career. The Wicklow, Ireland native shot a career-best 1-under-par, 72-74-69-215, to tie for seventh place at the 2012 BIG EAST Championship.Â
