STATE COLLEGE, PA. - The Seton Hall women's golf team will return to tournament action for three rounds of golf at the Nittany Lion Invitational hosted by Penn State University, Sept. 21-22.

The relaxing atmosphere continues right off the greens and into the Walker Clubhouse. In this 6,000 sq. ft. facility you'll find a complete Golf Shop filled with the latest in quality golf equipment and merchandise. Let our golf professionals share with you their expertise and answer any of your questions. Next to the Golf Shop is The Nineteenth Hole Cafe. This snack area offers a variety of food and snacks for a quick bite or a relaxing meal. The Cafe's open dining area overlooks the courses and provides the perfect compliments to a round of golf.

THE FIELD
In addition to Seton Hall and host Penn State, the field is comprised of 14 other teams including: Akron, Albany, Bucknell, Delaware, Duquesne, Maryland, Navy, Pennsylvania, Quinnipiac, Rollins College, Towson and Yale. Â Â BIG EAST competitors Georgetown and St. John's are also among the field.

THE FORMAT
Teams will play five golfers and count the four lowest scores per round.

Here's the lineup the Pirates will bring to State College…
Sophomore Marta Aguilar (Casares Malaga, Spain) placed fourth overall and helped guide the Pirates to an 11th place finish at the season-opening "The Southern" golf tournament on Sept. 9. Aguilar had three birdies in route to a 3-over-par, 75, in round three. For the tournament, she placed fourth with a 3-over-par, 72-72-75-219.Â

As a team, The Hall shot a 28-over-par, 316, in round three on Tuesday. For the tournament, the Pirates placed 11th with an 80-over-par, 315-313-316-944. Eastern Michigan won the team title at 11-over-par.

LAST TIME AT PENN STATE:
Marta Aguilar shot a 1-under-par, 71, in the final round to lift the Pirates to a ninth place finish at the Nittany Lion Invitational on Sept. 15. Aguilar picked up her first sub-par effort in only her third collegiate round thanks to five birdies and nine pars. For the tournament, she was 5-over-par with a 74-76-71-221 to tie for ninth among 83 individual golfers.Â

As a team, The Hall was able to jump one spot in the standings thanks to a 12-over-par, 300, in round three. For the tournament, the Pirates were 46-over-par with a 310-300-300-910. Princeton won the team title at 10-over-par.

SCHEDULE
The field will play two continuous rounds (36 holes) on Sunday, beginning with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m., and a single, final round on Monday. Sunday's shotgun start will begin at 8:30 a.m.
