Senior Jordana Codio (Winter Garden, Fla.) scored a game-high 20 points, but the Seton Hall women's basketball team fell to Creighton, 72-66, in historic Walsh Gymnasium on Sunday.
Â
Trailing by two possessions for most of the game, the Pirates went particularly cold from the field at the worst time, going scoreless for the first 6:12 of the fourth quarter and allowing the Bluejays to increase their lead to 12 points. The Hall was able to cut its deficit to three, but ultimately ran out of time.
Â
The loss is Seton Hall's first against an opponent other than No. 1 Connecticut since Dec. 19.
