Cross Country Competes At NCAA Regional Championships

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Seton Hall University cross country teams were in action on Saturday at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region Championships in University Park, Pa. The men's team finished 19th out of 23 teams with 588 points. The Pirate women ranked 22nd out of 24 teams with 616 points.
The top finisher for the men was junior Justin Wood (Walton, N.Y.), who finished in 74th (32:45). The next finisher was David Alfano (West Orange, N.J.) who placed 99th (33:28). Ryan Collardeau (New Ipswich, N.H.) was 132nd (35:02), Alex Currie (Delphi, Ind.) placed 135th (35:10), Brendon Meeham was 148th (36:02), John Morse placed 156th (37:15), and Greg Gomez (Franklin, was 158th (38:07).
The Seton Hall women were led by Kerry Cahill, who finished 97th (23:53). Next was Crystal Anyanwu (Beltsville, Md.) who placed 115th (24:20). Erin Hagan was 118th (24:27), Andrea Austin (Hollywood, Fla.) finished 142nd (25:36), Feven Tsegai was 144th (25:50), Robin Kneblick (Burleson, Texas) placed 156th (28:44), and Gorgeous Harper finished 163rd (33:21).
Seton Hall cross country returns to action next Saturday at the ECAC/IC4 Championships, held in Teaneck, N.J.
