Cross Country Competes at Mid-Atlantic NCAA Regional Championships

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Seton Hall men’s and women’s cross country teams competed in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships at the Goodman Campus cross country course on Saturday, with the men finishing 23rd and the women coming in 25th. Senior Justin Wood (Walton, N.Y.) was the men’s top finisher, coming in 55th overall with a time of 31:52.2, and sophomore Kerry Cahill (Hillsborough, N.J.) paced the women, finishing 78th in 22:32.1.
Also competing for the men’s team, sophomore Pawel Kornaszewski (Clifton, N.J.) was 133rd, running the course in 33:46.6, freshman Tom Walsh (Matawan, N.J.) finished in 34:14.4, coming in 148th, senior Ryan Colardeau (New Ipswich, N.H.) came in 169th, with a time of 34:57.5, and freshman Nick Campbell (Warwick, R.I.) was right behind Colardeau, placing 170th with a time of 34:58.5.
Rounding out the top finishers for the women’s team, senior Andrea Austin (Hollywood, Fla.) came in 124th, with a time of 23:31.7, junior Crystal Anyanwu (Beltsville, Md.) was 165th, finishing the race in 25:16.4, junior Robin Kneblick (Burleson, Texas) had a time of 26:01.8, placing 173rd, and junior Katie Van Doren (Bridgewater, N.J.) finished in 177th place, with a time of 26:45.5.
The men’s and women’s cross country teams will finish their season next Saturday, Nov. 19, when they compete in the IC4A/ECAC Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, N.Y.
Also competing for the men’s team, sophomore Pawel Kornaszewski (Clifton, N.J.) was 133rd, running the course in 33:46.6, freshman Tom Walsh (Matawan, N.J.) finished in 34:14.4, coming in 148th, senior Ryan Colardeau (New Ipswich, N.H.) came in 169th, with a time of 34:57.5, and freshman Nick Campbell (Warwick, R.I.) was right behind Colardeau, placing 170th with a time of 34:58.5.
