Mukosiej Makes BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Seton Hall women's basketball player Ela Mukosiej (Bilystok, Poland) has been named to the BIG EAST weekly honor roll after leading the Pirates to a perfect 2-0 week.
The junior guard set a new career-high with 20 points to go along with five assists and three steals in a 60-46 win over Providence on Jan. 23. In the Pirates' 51-50 victory over Pittsburgh, the 23rd ranked team in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll, Mukosiej racked up 19 points, seven rebounds, and three steals. Two of her buckets came in the final minute as SHU held on for the upset win.
Mukosiej is averaging 10.0 ppg and 3.3 rpg for the Pirates thus far. SHU returns to action on Saturday at Syracuse, with tip scheduled for noon.
