Cross Country Continues Racing at NCAA Regionals

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Seton Hall cross country teams continued competition at the NCAA Regionals on Saturday. The men's team placed 22nd and the women 24th. The Pirates will wrap up competition next weekend at the IC4A/ECAC Championships.
Junior Pawel Kornaszewski (Clifton, N.J.) was the first male finisher, placing 63rd (31:49). Junior Terrance Gallogly (Providence, R.I.) finished 113th (32:54), freshman Thomas Corona (Fairfield, Conn.) finished 149th (34:43), junior Patrick Nickerson was 164th (34:43), junior Rob Novak (Bordentown, N.J.) was 166th (34:48), junior Justin McKenzie (Upper Marlboro, Md.) was 178th (35:59), sophomore Patrick McGovern (Granton, R.I.) was 179th (36:09)
For the women, senior Kerry Cahill (Hillsborough, N.J.) led the way with a 54th place finish (21:58). Freshman Alexandra Hehn (Toms River, N.J.) was 117th (23:19), junior Chavanne Hubbard (Somerset, N.J.) was 146th (24:00), freshman Madison Wrest was 171st (24:36), junior Jackie Hobbs (Monroe, N.C.) was 174th (24:47), and sophomore Clare Byrne was 180th (25:05).
