
Cahill Victorious at Bronc Invitational

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - The Seton Hall cross country teams ran at the Bronc Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 15. Senior Kerry Cahill (Hillsborough, N.J.) won the women's 5K race in 19:04.70. The women's squad took fourth out of four teams, while the men finished third out of four.
Freshman Alexandra Hehn (Toms River, N.J) completed the course in 20:04.80 to finish 11th. Sophomore Clare Byrne (Berkely Heights, N.J.) placed 22nd (21:05.10). Junior Jackie Hobbs (Monroe, N.C.) was 24th female to cross the finish line in 21:11.20. Freshman KeAira Dickerson (Wilmington, N.C.) finished in 30th place with a time of 22:09.80. Sophomore Diane Szaflaski (Clifton, N.J.) was 33rd (23:14.60), and junior Ciara Blue (Camden, N.J.) ran the course in 23:49.30 to place 38th.
Junior Pawel Kornaszewski (Clifton, N.J.) paced the men's team, finishing in 12th (26:33.40). Freshman Thomas Corona (Fairfield, Conn.) was 14th (26:40.00). Junior Terrance Gallogly (Providence, R.I.) placed 15th, completing the 8K in 26:43.70. Senior Patrick O'Neil (Southwick, Mass) finished 22nd (28:17.10). Sophomore Patrick McGovern (Granton, R.I.) was 24th with a time of 28:23.90. Senior Shane Giblin (Novi, Mich.) finished in 36th (30:04.50). Junior Nick Campbell (Warwick, R.I.) was 39th (30:23.00), and senior Brendan Meehan (Woburn, Mass.) was 44th (31:58.80) for the Pirates.
Seton Hall returns to action at the Maryland-Eastern Shore Invitational on Sept. 22.
