
Cross Country Has Solid Outing at Leopard Invite

EASTON, Pa. – The Seton Hall men’s cross country team placed fifth, and the women’s team finished sixth at the Leopard Invitational hosted by Lafayette on Saturday. Senior Pawel Kornaszewski (Clifton, N.J.) ran to a seventh place finish, completing the five-mile race in 26:07.30. Senior Chavanne Hubbard (Somerset, N.J.) paced the women for the second straight week with a 21st place finish in 23:14.30
Senior Rob Novak (Bordentown, N.J.) was 20th, crossing the tape in 26:35.60. Novak’s classmate Terrance Gallogly (Providence, R.I.) completed the race in 27:00.40 to place 31st. Sophomore Thomas Corona (Fairfield, Conn.) hit a time of 27:05.10 to finish 34th. Sophomore Dwight Parker (Randallstown, Md.) ran a 28:13.00 to take 67th place.
For the rest of the women, freshman Alyssa Barrow (Millville, N.J.) ran a time of 23:23.70 finished 25th. Senior Clarisse Moh (Paris, France) had a season-best 34th place finish with a mark of 23:54.90. Sophomore Alexandra Hehn (Toms River, N.J.) placed 35th in 23:57.00. Sophomore KeAira Dickerson (Wilmington, Del.) was 47th, running a 24:48.60.
The Pirates have next week off in preparation for the BIG EAST Championships on Friday, October 31 at Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, N.Y.
