
Cross Country Sticks Together at BIG EAST Championships

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Seton Hall cross country squads ran at the BIG EAST Championships, hosted by Marquette on Saturday morning. The women placed 15th while the men finished 14th.
The men's team ran as a pack and finished 90th-94th in the race. Sophomore Austin Tobelmann (West Chester, Pa.) anchored the team with a time of 29:36, Erik Chester (Danieltown, Conn.) followed with a 29:40 performance, Jared Hanko (Montville, N.J.) ran a 30:22, Dwight Parker (Randallstown, Md.) hit 30:25, and Patrick McGovern (Granton, R.I.) finished in 30:35.
The women also ran together with all five runners finishing within a 1:14 span. Junior KeAira Dickerson (Wilmington, Del.) led the team with a 92nd place finish in 25:11. Freshman Eloisa Paredes (Clifton, N.J.) was behind Dickerson by a split second and placed 93rd. Junior Alexandra Hehn (Toms River, N.J.) was 99th (25:45), freshman Hughnique Rolle (Nassau, Bahamas) finished in 103rd (26:20), and Diane Szaflarski (Clifton, N.J.) was 105th (26:25).
