PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Drexel used a big first-half run to take down the Seton Hall women's basketball team on Sunday, 66-43. The Pirates (5-6) are back in action next Saturday when they host Hofstra at 2:00 p.m.

The Dragons responded with 11 unanswered, including threes from Hollie Mershon and Kamile Nacickaite, to take a 21-9 lead with 9:26 on the clock.
Drexel's run reached 23-2 over a span of eight minutes and 45 seconds after a bucket by Tyler Hale at the 3:13 mark. Crew knocked down three baskets for the Pirates in a three-minute span, including a three-pointer, to make it a 38-19 game at halftime.

Another jumper from Crew made it a 14-point game, but Taylor Wootton countered with five straight for the Dragons to make it 50-31. A putback by Nacickaite pushed the lead back over 20 at the 8:47 mark, and the Pirates were unable to threaten down the stretch.
