
Women's Basketball Continues Community Service Program

The Seton Hall women's basketball program continued its community service initiatives this week.
On Monday, the team visited patients in the Valerie Center for blood related illnesses, the pediatric center, the pediatric intensive care unit and the burn unit at St. Barnabas Medical Center. They met with the child life specialist to learn how ways to make the hospital stay more enjoyable for the patients before spending time and providing encouragement to them.
On Wednesday, a group of players and staff members partnered with Team Walker to hold a basketball clinic for underprivileged children in Jersey City. The Pirates led the participants in different drills to encourage proper basketball technique as well as the importance of teamwork and communication. The night ended with relay races and autograph signings by the players.
