
Anne Donovan Addresses Long Branch Chamber of Commerce

On Friday October 7, 2011 women's basketball head coach, Anne Donovan visited with members of the Long Branch, N.J. Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the annual Seton Hall Phi Kappa Theta Alumni and Friends Luncheon. Over 45 chamber members, alumni and friends were in attendance for lunch at Rooney's Oceanfront Restaurant in Long Branch, N.J.
During her remarks, Coach Donovan spoke of her excitement in leading the Seton Hall women's basketball program while also providing a preview for the upcoming season. Coach Donovan also encouraged those in attendance to come out and watch the team at Walsh Gym this season and stressed the importance of fan and alumni support for the program.
"It's important to put a face with the program," said Donovan. "I appreciate the opportunity to visit with the Long Branch Chamber as it gives me a chance to meet our fans and alumni, get them excited about our program and encourage them to come out and support us."
Joining Coach Donovan were Associate Athletic Director, Development, Bryan Felt, Director of Ticket Sales, Rich Bello and Pirate Blue volunteer; Charles Guaraglia '64. Charles was on hand to announce a new initiative called, "Annie's Angels", a new fan club supporting Coach Donovan and Seton Hall women's basketball.
