
Cross Country Runs at Leopard Invitational

EASTON, Pa. - The Seton Hall cross country teams ran their final tune-ups for the BIG EAST Championship at the Leopard Invitational on Saturday. The women took 11th place and the men finished 10th.
Freshman Mary Migton (Ledgewood, N.J.) turned in yet another top-10 performance, claiming eighth place in a time of 22:17.6. Senior Jared Hanko (Montville, N.J.) paced the men, taking 44th place in 28:00.7.
Junior Hughnique Rolle (Nassau, Bahamas) finished 25th (22:55.9), sophomore Nyala Eddings (Chicago, Ill.) secured 53rd place (23:57.5). Freshman Louisa Ozimek (Strongsville, Ohio) was next in 88th (26:00.0). Junior Christina Chafos (South Amboy, N.J.) was 92nd (26:27.6), junior Marigot Lustyk (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.) placed 94th (27:00.1), and freshman Kristen May (Shrewsbury, Mass.) claimed 97th place (27:26.1).
On the men's side, senior Erik Chester (Danielson, Conn.) crossed the tape in 28:26.1 to finish 52nd. Freshman Tyler Orner (Sinking Spring, Pa.) was 72nd (29:11.5), junior Tony Cramond (Monroe, Conn.) finished 75th (29:23.4), senior Andrew O'Leary (Liverpool, N.Y.) placed 79th (29:40.4), followed by junior Cory Hellwig (Vernon, N.J.), who finished 80th (29:40.4). Freshman Kevin Walsh (Deltaville, Va.) rounded out the scoring with an 84th place finish in 29:52.2.
The conference championship will take place on Saturday, October 29, at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, Ky.
