
Crew Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Senior guard Jasmine Crew (Camden, N.J.) was selected to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after averaging 19.7 points and three assists in the final three games of the regular season.
She had 20 points at No. 24/20 Rutgers on February 21, shooting an efficient 7-of-12 from the floor. Crew would then guide the Pirates with 19 points in a win at Pittsburgh on February 25, and closed her outstanding regular season with 20 points against No. 16/17 Louisville on Monday.
In addition, Crew shot 16-of-17 from the free throw line.

BIG EAST Player of the Week
Skylar Diggins, Notre Dame, Jr., G (South Bend, Ind.)
Diggins averaged 19.7 ppg and 6.0 apg in a 3-0 week for the Irish to help Notre Dame clinch its first outright regular-season title. At No. 16/17 Louisville, she had 21 points, seven assists and three steals. In a win against USF, she recorded 18 points, nine assists and shot 50 percent from the floor (7-of-14). In the final game of the regular season, at No. 4/4 Connecticut, Diggins had 20 points, three steals and four rebounds.
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, Connecticut, Fr., F, (Anaheim, Calif.)
Mosqueda-Lewis averaged 20 ppg in a 2-1 week for Connecticut. In a game at Pittsburgh, she had 23 points, going 9-of-12 from the floor. At Marquette, Mosqueda-Lewis had 27 points and seven rebounds. In the regular-season finale, she had 10 points, shooting 50 percent from the floor against No. 3/3 Notre Dame.
