SETON HALL STATUS
Seton Hall enters a mid-week matchup with in-state rival Rutgers with a 1-5 record after matches with three tough opponents last weekend. The Pirates dropped a five-set marathon to Colgate on Friday and then lost to undefeated Missouri and host Yale, in five sets, on Saturday. Junior Shelbey Manthorpe (Merion Station, Pa.) recorded her 13th career triple-double vs. Colgate in the loss. She was named to the Yale University Tournament All-Tournament Team.
AGAINST RUTGERS
Seton Hall will square off with Rutgers in a non-conference match for the first time since 1994. Rutgers is now a member of the American Athletic Conference and will join the Big Ten in 2014. The Pirates have won six of the last eight matches against the Scarlet Knights, including a 3-2 victory last season in Walsh Gym.
