The big offensive performance carried some added significance as Simmons eclipsed 900-career points in the process. She currently leads all active Seton Hall players with 923 career points, and needs just 75 more to move up to No. 20 on the program's all-time scoring ranks.

For the season Simmons ranks sixth in the BIG EAST, averaging 16.0 ppg, and leads the conference with 5.7 assists per game. Against league foes her offensive numbers are even more impressive, where her 17.0 ppg rank fifth in the conference and she is also second with a 2.2 assist-to-turnover ratio.
With her impressive junior campaign Simmons is steadily climbing up a number of Seton Hall's career and single-season top-10 lists.
