Softball Schedule Changes, Pirates Headed to ECU

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - The inclement weather that has affected much of the Eastern half of the country has also disrupted the weekend plans for the Seton Hall University softball team, as the Pirates have seen their schedule altered as well.
Seton Hall was originally scheduled to participate in the Charlotte First Pitch Classic from Friday-Sunday, Feb. 14-16, but the tournament was cancelled due to inclement weather in the area.
Instead the Pirates will now travel to Greenville, N.C., to compete in the Eastern Carolina University Pirate Snow Classic this Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 15-16. Seton Hall will play four games in two days in a tournament field that features host ECU, Drexel and Delaware State.
Seton Hall opens tournament play on Saturday afternoon against Drexel at 12 p.m., and will face ECU that afternoon at 4 p.m. On Sunday the Pirates play Delaware State at 10 a.m., before concluding play against ECU at 2 p.m.
