Pirates Head To Rutgers On Tuesday Night

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- The Seton Hall women's basketball team (6-3) looks to continue a strong run in non-conference play on Tuesday night when it visits Rutgers (2-9) for a Garden State showdwon at the Rutgers Athletics Center. Tip off is set for 7 p.m. in a contest broadcast on the Big Ten Network with Jason Horowitz and Vera Jones on the call, also available over the air at WSOU, 89.5 FM.Â
The Pirates are coming off a 77-59 victory over LIU Brooklyn in their last outing on Wednesday, Dec. 7 while the Scarlet Knights have dropped three in a row, including both contests on a just-completed two-game road swing at St. John's and Houston. Seton Hall and RU have met in each of the last three seasons, with two postseason meetings before The Hall recorded a resounding 77-49 victory last year during the regular season.Â
