Pirates Open Ottawa Leg Of Foreign Tour With Win

OTTAWA, Ontario -Â The Seton Hall women's basketball team continued the second half of its foreign tour in Ottawa heading into the weekend. The Pirates arrived in Canada's capital on Thursday (Aug. 11) and played their first game in Ottawa on Friday (Aug. 12).
On Friday, The Hall used an 11-0 run in the fourth quarter to pull ahead late, eventually securing a 75-61 victory over the University of Ottawa. JaQuan Jackson (Killeen, Texas) led the Pirates with 18 points while Claire Lundberg (Andover, Minn.) added 15 points by way of five 3-pointers. Martha Kuderer (Eden Prairie, Minn.) added 14 points and freshman point guard Kaela Hilaire (Floral Park, N.Y.) scored seven points and dished out seven assists. The Hall will conclude the foreign tour exhibition slate on Saturday when they face perennial power Carleton University in Ottawa.Â
