Pirates Host Penn On Monday Night

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall men's soccer team (1-2-0) returns home on Monday night to host Pennsylvania (0-0-1) for a Labor Day showdown at Owen T. Carroll Field. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live and FREE on the Pirate Sports Network.
The Pirates are coming off a tough loss at UMass Lowell on Friday night, surrendering a golden goal in the 98th minute after a scoreless regulation. The Hall was out-shot 14-9 for the contest, while Julian Spindler (Weiserbach, Germany) made three saves in a terrific defensive effort. Penn opened its season on Friday against American, drawing the Eagles by a score of 2-2. The Hall is 13-3-1 all-time against the Quakers in a series that began in 1990, picking up a 3-2 victory in the most recent outing in 2009.
