
Pirates Split With Xavier, West Virginia

Morgantown, W.Va. – The Seton Hall men's swimming & diving team defeated BIG EAST Conference rival Xavier, 162.5-111.5, and fell to host West Virginia, 227-53, at the Big 12 vs. BIG EAST tri-match this weekend.
Senior Noah Yanchulis (Arnold, Md.) swam a 1:40.97 and finished second in the 200 free. He also finished fourth in the 100 free after touching the wall in 46.96. Ahead of him in third was teammate Dakota Williams (Noank, Conn.) who swam a 46.91.
In the 400 medley relay, sophomores Tyler Kauth (Wall, N.J.) and Joshua Tosoni (Arnold, Md.) alongside freshman Liam Cosgrove (Sea Girt, N.J.) and Williams placed third with a time of 3:24.55.
Kauth finished second in the 100 back with a time of 51.58, and took third in the 200 back after recording a 1:51.93.
Looking ahead, the Pirates head down the road to Piscataway, N.J. to take on Georgetown, Villanova and Pittsburgh in a tri-meet next weekend beginning on Friday, Nov. 3 at 4 p.m.
