SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall men's soccer team (3-3-1) saw a three-match winning streak come to an end on Wednesday night, falling to Delaware (3-1-1) by a score of 2-0 at Owen T. Carroll Field. The contest was The Hall's final tuneup before BIG EAST Play kicks off this weekend, with 19 players seeing action over the course of the match.
The Blue Hens got a goal in each half and a six-save shutout from Todd Morton to keep the Pirates at bay in the hard-fought bout. Jonathan Jimenez (Cape Coral, Fla.) led all players with five total shots, putting each attempt on goal in a tough-luck 67 minutes as a reserve.
