
Pirates Open BIG EAST Play With St. John's

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall men's soccer team (3-3-1, 0-0-0 BIG EAST) will kick off conference play this weekend when it hosts St. John's (3-2-1, 0-0-0) for a BIG EAST rivialry tilt at Owen T. Carroll Field. Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. at Owen T. Carroll Field in a contest set to air on the BIG EAST Digital Network and FOX Sports GO.
The Pirates have won three of four heading into conference play, while the Red Storm have won two-straight and are unbeaten over their last three matches. Each of the last three meetings between The Hall and St. John's have been 1-0 finishes, with four of the last five meetings seeing the two sides combine for one goal or less. The Pirates are 12-23-3 all-time against the Red Storm in a series daring back to 1979.

Following Saturday's conference opener, The Hall makes its final jaunt out of BIG EAST play when it heads to Lehigh on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
