
Pirates Play Host To Villanova On Friday Night

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Fresh off its first BIG EAST road win on Wednesday night, the Seton Hall women's basketball team (10-7, 2-4 BIG EAST) is back at Walsh Gym on Friday night to host Villanova (13-2, 3-2 BIG EAST) in a conference tilt. The action is set for 7 p.m. on the BIG EAST Digital Network and FOX Sports GO app.Â

- The Pirates picked up their first road win in BIG EAST play on Wednesday night, picking up a 62-51 win at Xavier
- The Hall used a stingy defensive effort to force 25 XU turnovers and recorded a total of 16 steals
- On the offensive end, The Hall shot 47.3 percent from the floor and got 17 points from Donnaizha Fountain
- Taylor Brown and JaQuan Jackson were also in double-figures with 10 points each, while Inja Butina and Nicole Jimenez combined for 11 assists
- The Pirates finished with a +7 edge in the turnover battle and out-scored the Musketeers 22-14 off turnovers
