Carmel, Ind. – Olivia and Emily Hernandez (East Brunswick, N.J.) were the top two Pirates to cross the finish line on Saturday as the Seton Hall women's cross country team finished ninth at the BIG EAST Championship held at Northview Church.

Olivia led the Pirates with a 6K time of 23:15.4, while Emily clocked in at 23:16.0 to place 47th and 48th, respectively.

Freshman Emma Newgarden placed 56th with a time of 23:16.0, while junior Kassi Yocco (Bethlehem, Pa.) finished 59th after completing the course in 23:50.0.

Villanova took home the team BIG EAST crown, followed by Georgetown and Providence.

Up next, the Pirates will compete at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on Friday, Nov. 9 in University Park, Pa.
