MONTGOMERY, N.Y. – Seton Hall women's cross continued its season at the Jasper Fall Invitational hosted by Manhattan University in Montgomery, N.Y. today, placing fourth overall in the 15-team field with 140 total points.
How it Happened
For the second consecutive meet, senior Honey Strosnider crossed the line as the top Pirate finisher, placing 16th overall. After losing ground to the opposition after a quarter of the race, Strosnider surged up nine places in the final 2000 meters to secure a time of 21:51.10.
After a strong start to the race, Senior Caitlin Fahy crossed in 26th place, second on the team, with a time of 22:14.20. This result extended her streak of meets finished as a top-three Pirate to seven meets.
The familiar Pirate triumvirate was completed when junior Paige Quigley crossed the line as the third Pirate finisher. Quigley's race played out similarly to Fahy's, landing her in 33rd with a time of 22.23.60.
