
The Hall Drops Season Finale At Villanova

VILLANOVA, Pa. – Despite controlling huge chunks of possession and holding a 14-shot edge, the Seton Hall men's soccer team (6-7-2, 2-6-1 BIG EAST) fell by a score of 1-0 at Villanova (7-8-2, 2-6-1 BIG EAST) in the regular season finale on Wednesday afternoon at the Higgins Soccer Complex.
The Pirates out-shot the Wildcats 24-10 and generated 10 corner kicks, but were unable to break through as VU keeper Carson Williams stood on his head with eight saves for the match. The contest went to the break scoreless, with the lone goal of the afternoon coming in the 55th minute. The Hall dominated the ball for the rest of the second half but could not put one away.
