SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall head coach Allison Yaeger officially announced on Wednesday the addition of six newcomers who will play women's volleyball at Seton Hall University in the fall of 2019. Reagan Hopp (Carmel, Ind.), Mackenzie Huntley (Leander, Texas), Reece Koehler (Stillwater, Minn.), Raygan Murray (Rocky River, Ohio), Grace Rosenberg (Lido Beach, N.Y.) and Julia Wilkins (Mason, Ohio) all signed a national letter of intent this week and will enroll at the University this fall.
A three-year team captain at Brebeauf Jesuit Prep in Indianapolis, Ind., Reagan Hopp will provide the Pirates with another strong offensive option. Named to the First Team All-State, All-Conference and All-City in 2017, she helped lift Brebeauf to 88 victories in the last four years. A participant in the Junior All-Star Game, Hopp erupted for a career-high 32 kills in a single-match. A high honors student, she has been on the AVCA Phenom List the last three years.
Hailing from Leander, Texas, Mackenzie Huntley is another offensive weapon in both the middle and outside. Named TAVC 19-5A Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-District, she had well over 400 kills and a team-best .298 attack percentage as a senior for Rouse High School. Named team captain as a senior, Huntley is also an Academic All-District honoree.
A middle blocker from Stillwater, Minn., Reece Koehler has collected well over 500 kills and 200 blocks over the last three years for Stillwater Area High School. A 2018 All-Conference selection and two-time AAU Academic All-American, she has lifted her school to the top of the Suburban East Conference as a senior. Most recently, Koehler erupted for 18 kills and three blocks in the section final on Nov. 2, sending Stillwater to the 2018 Minnesota Class AAA State Tournament.
A standout libero from Rocky River, Ohio, Raygan Murray will look to add her name to Seton Hall's list of iconic liberos. A four-time All-Conference selection, she was named Rocky River High School's Defensive MVP three times. Murray helped lead her school to the conference title in 2017 and the runner up in 2018, breaking records for career digs and digs in a single-season along the way. A two-year team captain, she has recorded nearly 1,400 career digs.
With Sophia Coffey graduating, the addition of setter Grace Rosenberg gives the Pirates added talent and depth. An All-State selection and three-time All-County honoree, she was named the 2017 Nassau County Class AA Most Valuable Player. A senior captain for Long Beach Senior High School in New York, she set the school service aces record this year. A high honor roll member, Rosenberg was on the 2017 High Performance GEVA Team.
An offensive force for Ursuline Academy in Blue Ash, Ohio, Julia Wilkins has led her team to four straight league championships and back-to-back state titles as a junior and senior. Named an AVCA Under Armour All-American in 2018, she is a two-time member of the AVCA Phenom List and a five-time Max Preps MVP. In 2018, she ranked among the conference's top-5 in kills, blocks and hitting percentage. Equally as impressive in the classroom, Wilkins is a four-year First Honors student and a member of the National Honor Society.
