
Pirates Visit St. John's For Friday FS2 Showdown

QUEENS, N.Y. -- The Seton Hall women's basketball team (15-11, 7-8 BIG EAST) heads across the river on Friday night for a nationally-televised showdown with rival St. John's (15-11, 8-7 BIG EAST) at Carnesecca Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the contest will air on FS2 and the FOX Sports GO app with Jay Alter and LaChina Robinson on the call.Â
The Pirates currently sit one game behind the Red Storm for fifth in the BIG EAST standings, but are going for a season sweep and the key tiebreaker that would come with it. The short trip to Queens is the final contest of a season-long three-game road swing. Fans looking to make the short trip on Friday can join the Blue Beard Army bus trip, with details below.
For the entire month of February, Seton Hall and the BIG EAST are partnering with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund in the #Play4Kay Free Throw Challenge. Fans can pledge a donation for every free throw made in February to benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. So far, The Hall has sunk 41 free throws this month.
