Indianapolis, Ind. – Senior goalkeeper Anna MacLean (Thunder Bay, Ontario) made five saves on Thursday night, but the Seton Hall women's soccer team could not keep pace with a surging Butler offense, as the Pirates fell 3-0 in a BIG EAST Conference match at the Bud and Jackie Sellick Bowl.
Turning Point
The Pirates (2-5-4, 0-2-0 BIG EAST) trailed 1-0 at the break, but Butler (8-3-0, 2-0-0 BIG EAST) made it 2-0 just 1:15 into the second half to capture momentum and ultimately secure the victory.
Freshman Emma Ramsay (Mississauga, Ontario) and sophomore Bianca Tata (Wethersfield, Conn.) had an opportunity late in the match to put the Pirates on the board, but the Butler defense held strong.
