SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - It's good to be home.Â
After a pair of heartbreaking last-second road losses last weekend, the Seton Hall women's basketball team (9-5, 1-2 BIG EAST) returns to the friendly confines of historic Walsh Gym on Friday morning to host Creighton (8-7, 2-2 BIG EAST) in conference action. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m. on the BIG EAST Digital Network with David Gass and Olivia Mulvihill on the call.Â
Friday is Kids Day at Walsh Gym, presented by American Dairy. Nearly 900 local students from surrounding towns are expected to pack Walsh Gym, with a capacity crowd expected. Limited tickets are still available at this link.
The Pirates were in action over the weekend at Butler and Xavier, dropping the two road contests by a combined four points. A return home should be just the medicine the Pirates need this weekend, as The Hall holds a 7-0 record and is averaging over 90 points per game at Walsh Gym this season. They'll host a Creighton squad that sits at 2-2 through the start of BIG EAST play, picking up conference wins at DePaul and home to Georgetown.Â
All-Time vs. Creighton: 8-3, CU
Last Meeting: CU 81, SHU 64 (OT) - Jan. 28, 2018
SETON HALL TIP-INS
The Pirates are back in action on Sunday, Jan. 13 when they host Providence at Walsh Gym for a game televised nationally on FS2.Â
