The Hall Seeks Sunday Win vs. Marquette

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team is back in action Sunday afternoon when it hosts Marquette in BIG EAST action. First kick is scheduled for 1 p.m.

SCOUTING MARQUETTE
Marquette is 4-8-1 this season, but has some huge victories on its resume, including shutout wins over Michigan and Minnesota and a big comeback at St. John's just this past Thursday when the Golden Eagles rebounded from a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2. It was Marquette's first BIG EAST win of the season. Macey Shock leads the Golden Eagles in scoring with three goals on the season.

QUICK KICKS

Head coach Ciara Crinion enters her first season at Seton Hall after a successful seven-year run as an assistant and associate head coach at Hartford. In those seven seasons, the Hawks accumulated a 77-36-20 record (.654), won four America East regular season championships.
Junior Laura Hooper ranks 10th in the BIG EAST and leads the team with 2.45 shots per game.
Freshman Harpa Johannsdottir ranks sixth in the conference with 4.09 saves per contest and 2 clean sheets.

UP NEXT
The Pirates will be headed to DePaul next Saturday Oct. 19 for a BIG EAST matchup with the Blue Demons. Game time is 1 p.m., Eastern.
