Pirates Win Highlander XC Challenge

Newark, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's cross country team earned a first place finish in the NJIT Highlander XC Challenge on Saturday. The victory is the team's second victory on the season after a win in the NYIT Invitational.
Leading the Pirates on the women's side with a fourth place finish was senior Kassi Yocco (Bethlehem, Pa.) who now has finished in the top two for the Pirates in all five meets so far this year.
Arianna Braccio (Nashua, N.H.) picked up her third top-10 finish on the season, coming in sixth overall with a time of 18:28.11. Fellow freshman Nancy Habib (Clifton, N.J.) earned her first top five finish on the team, coming in fifth with a time of 18:57.43.
The Pirates will run again in the Metropolitan Championship hosted by Fordham University in the Bronx, N.Y. on Friday, Oct. 11.
