
Haylee Gasser Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Seton Hall senior Haylee Gasser (Mission Viejo, Calif.) was named to the BIG EAST Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll on Tuesday.

It's the second time this season and the third time in her career receiving the weekly distinction.

Gasser had a career-best performance in Seton Hall's victory over Providence on Friday. The converted outside hitter erupted for a career-high 23 kills, including four of the Pirates' seven in the decisive fifth set. Gasser committed only five attack errors and had a .383 attack percentage. She added five more kills against No. 14 Creighton on Saturday. For the weekend, Gasser led The Hall with 3.50 kills and 3.69 points per set.

St. John's Efrosini Alexakou was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, while Butler's Melody Davidson was named Defensive Player of the Week. Creighton's Keeley Davis was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week. Those joining Gasser on the Honor Roll include: Butler's Anna Logan, Creighton's Madelyn Cole, Villanova's Regan Lough and Xavier's Ellie Chaffee.

Seton Hall return to action on Wednesday when it hosts Georgetown in Walsh Gym. Match time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
