Braccio, Yocco Lead Pirates at BIG EAST Championships

Kenosha, Wis. -Â The Seton Hall women's cross country team competed in the BIG EAST Championships on Saturday. On a snowy, wet course the Pirates took 10th in the field.
The Pirates were led by freshman Arianna Braccio (Nashua, N.H.)Â with a time of 24:30.3. This was the third time Braccio has paced the Pirates this season. The freshman has also finished top five on the team in every meet this year.
Finishing right behind Braccio was senior Kassi Yocco (Bethlehem, Pa.)Â who finished with a time of 24:36.8. Yocco has now finished either first or second for the Pirates in every meet during her senior campaign.
Rounding out the Pirates' top three was Olivia Hernandez (East Brunswick, N.J.) coming in at 24:41.6. It was Hernandez's third consecutive meet placing top three and fifth in a row as a top five Pirate finisher.
Fellow juniors Emily Hernandez (East Brunswick, N.J.) and Cristina Fernandez (Parsippany, N.J.) took fourth and fifth, respectively, on the Pirates' squad with times of 25:15.3 and 25:15.6.
The Pirates will finish up the 2019 season when they run at the IC4A/ECAC Championships on Nov. 23.
